We need your help and your voice! Please COME!
Seattle Councilmember Nick Licata is hosting a special meeting of the Housing and Human Services Committee to advocate for homeless families at Mary’s Place on WEDNESDAY, JULY 25th from 2:00-3:30pm
1830 9th Ave (9th & Stewart) in Seattle. The agenda is attached.
We need you to attend and tell the Council that Seattle must not be a city that lets its children sleep outside, in cars, on buses, doorways, or parks while they wait and work for housing. A Community Emergency Family Shelter is needed NOW! Our children need a safe place to rest!
This meeting is critical to help secure funding and support to shelter these families tonight. Change can’t happen without you.
If you don’t come who will?
Email Marty at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can be there and/or speak in support of our emergency shelter plans!
If you are unable to attend please email Councilmember Licata and let him know you share his passion that there should be no unsheltered family in the City of Seattle.
Please share this email and invite everyone who wants to see homeless families come inside.
