Bring your fabric scissors and cut for a cause at our March Member meeting! This event is open to members and prospective members.

We will be hearing from Mara Lim with Days for Girls International  (DFG) about how the important organization empowers women and girls worldwide by preparing and distributing sustainable menstrual health solutions to those who would otherwise miss school during their monthly periods.

We will help DFG make an impact by cutting pieces of fabric that will be used to create the DfG PODs (Portable Objects of Dignity) that the nonprofit distributes.

Following Mara’s brief introduction, there will be a lively discussion geared towards intersectional activism with guest Gerry Ebalaroza-Tunnell, PhDc, the founder of the Nā Wahine o ka Mana- The Power of Women International Summit.
