The 2014 Legislative Session began on Monday, January 12, 2015.
Wednesday, March 11th is the last day for bills to be considered in their house of origin.
Wednesday, April 1st is the last day for consideration of bills from the opposite house in committee except for House Fiscal and Senate Ways & Means and Transportation committees
Tuesday, April 7th is the last day for consideration of bills from the opposite house in the House Fiscal and Senate Ways & Means and Transportation committees
Wednesday, April 15th is the last day for consideration of bills from the opposite house (exception initiatives, alternatives to initiatives, budget and matters necessary to implement budgets, differences between the houses, and matters incident to the interim and closing of the session.
The legislature is scheduled to end at the end of the day on Sunday, April 26, 2015.

HB 1647 – Health Plan Coverage for Reproductive Health Care
HB 1647 requires health care plans issued or renewed on or after 1/1/2016 to provide coverage for FDA approved contraceptive drugs and devices; voluntary sterilization procedures; and all applicable consultations, examinations and medical services. It also requires that if a health care plan covers maternity care or services that it provide substantially equivalent services to permit the voluntarily termination of a pregnancy..
HB 1647 is currently in the House Rules Committee where it can be scheduled for a vote by the full House.
Leave a message for your Representatives letting them know you support the Reproductive Health Care Act and request a YES vote on HB 1647.
