100 year ago, something happened that changed our lives forever….It’s time to celebrate! On November 8th, 1910, women in WA State were awarded the right to vote. One
hundred years later, the Women’s Center at the University of Washington is ready to celebrate this incredible accomplishment, as well as, 100 women in our state who have broken barriers in a variety of industries. We would love your help, as an integral part of our community, to spread the word about the fabulous accomplishments of women in our state. Please help us honor WA women’s suffrage and all WA woman leadership by adding us to your calendar and linking to more information regarding this event.
Over the last one hundred years, the Women’s Center at the University of Washington has been actively supporting generations of women and girls in their pursuit of personal, professional, and academic success.
