13th Tasveer South Asian Film Festival (TSAFF) is an 11-day festival of thought-provoking meaningful films & forums on South Asia to engage its viewers to dialogue openly on the issues of human right and social/political/economic injustice. The focus country of this year is Pakistan and #KnowMe.
It is the largest South Asian Film Festival in the country with over 5000 attendees, 63 films, 5 cities. TSAFF is produced by Tasveer.
Tasveer’s mission is to inspire social change through thought-provoking films, art, and storytelling.
In partnership with Seattle NOW, TSAFF would be showcasing the movie “Half Widow” with a Q&A session afterwards on Oct. 6th at 9pm. The program will take place at Northwest Film Forum.
The description of the movie is as follows:
“Amid the backdrop of the Kashmiri conflict, a young woman must come to grips with the disappearance of her doting husband and embarks on a harrowing journey of self-discovery.”
